70-plus

The discriminatory term 70-plus, which was so common in Sweden in early 2020, is beginning to reappear. 

Of course, older people on average are weaker than younger. Of course, older people can, on average, be more easily infected by infectious diseases. And it is in the nature of things that the elderly have a greater tendency to die than younger folks. 

But some older people are infirm, and some older people are healthy. To treat everyone over seventy in the same way makes no sense.
