New equipment incapacitate 99 percent of Coronavirus in air and water within one second

Ultraviolet light (UV) is a well-known standard technology for disinfecting water.**

Now a company in South Korea (Violeds) has developed equipment that kills more than “99% of Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in less than a second”.*

Tests performed by Seoul Semiconductor demonstrates that the equipment could be an effective way to disinfect airborne viruses, water systems, areas where COVID-19 patients occurred, and even the patient’s rooms in hospitals.
