The politicians continue to scare us!

2020-11-02

This week, there were very few people on the subway, on the bus, at the office and in the lunch restaurant. Lockdown is the latest fashion among European politicians. Maybe it is going too far. Even the WHO is starting to protest.

The last person speaking is David Nabarro. He is specially appointed by the WHO to lead the fight against COVID-19. He wants us to fight COVID-19 forcefuly, but to avoid lockdowns as much as possible. Lockdowns are harmful.

Maybe he will be forced to retrack. But he did say it. And he, if anyone, must know.

Who is David Nabarro?

Nabarro is 71 years old and Professor and Co-Director at the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College in London.

In September 2016, Nabarro was nominated by the UK Government to stand for the post of Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO). In the voting, he came in second after the present Director General, Dr Tedros Adhanom.

In February 2020, he was appointed as one of six Special Envoys from WHO, who were tasked to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
